Holy Eucharist
Holy Eucharist:
The holy Eucharist is the sacrament of true body and blood of Jesus Christ, together with his soul and divinity under the appearances of bread and wine.
The Eucharist also known as Holy Communion is the source and summit of the Christian life. The term “Eucharist” originates from the Greek word eucharistia, meaning thanksgiving. In the celebration of the Eucharist, bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and the instrumentality of a validly ordained priest.
Not everyone who comes to Church receives Holy Communion, but only Catholics who have prepared in the usual way.
To receive First Holy Communion, you have to attend Catechism Class every Saturday and Sunday.
