Confirmation

Confirmation:

Confirmation, in the Catholic Church, is one of the seven sacraments. It is also one of the three sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church, the other two being Baptism and Holy Communion.

Confirmation is a Sacrament by which we receive the Holy Spirit, to become strong Christians and soldiers of Christ.

To be considered a candidate for Confirmation, the youth must have been baptized, and also should have participated in at least two years of catechetical preparation prior to beginning immediate preparation for the sacrament. A special catechetical approach for preparing older teens may need to be provided.

The usual time and days of Catechism class is highly required.
