The resolutions and recommendations we made at the joint meeting would be a guide to the Committees and they should start meeting immediately for proper planning. The Harvest Committee Chairmen should please take note.
  2. THE PARISH FEAST DAY: Our Parish Feast day celebration shall be on 15th of September 2024. Many Activities with Cultural celebration shall be used to mark the Feast. Hence, we agreed that the Committee that served last year would continue this year led by Cletus Iloh. We expect a detailed report in our next meeting.

We agreed to use St. Vincent as the Patron Saint of the Station; that is St. Vincent’s Catholic Community Natan Camp. We also agreed to erect a batcher there to start with, subsequently, we shall start Mass there.
  4. SEND FORTH OF REV. FR. CHARLES K. ONYENEKE: The names of the Societies and Organizations that did not contribute to the sent Forth should be forwarded to the Parish Priest to know how to follow them if they approach him for Parish concerns. Meanwhile, we asked Bro. Kingsley Ugwu to address the issue at Laity Council meeting.
  5. CREATION OF REVENUE SOURCES IN THE PARISH: We resolved that Parish Finance Committee to brainstorm on possible alternative sources of incomes for the Parish and then submit a report to the PPC for further deliberations, review, and approval. We are to expedite action on this as the first quarter of the year is almost gone. We are very open to any good ideas on this matter.

The Laity Council should address the Church two Sundays before the meeting day, as well as the Priest celebrating the Holy Mass on the importance of attending state Association’s meeting. The Laity Council also should call the leaders of all Tribal/States Associations and talk to them to address the Chuch in their local dialects and even canvas for members.
  10. STATE ASSOCIATIONS AT OUTSTATIONS: We agreed that each station should have their own leadership, form their own Tribal/State Associations. During Parish programme, the Heads should come together and decide how to represent themselves. They should be ready to identify with the Laity Council from each stations too.
  11. COMMUNICATION COMMITEE: The Parish has been sending Birthday/Anniversary messages to the registered Parishioners. So, those who have collected their membership cards and do not receive birthday/anniversary messages should approach the Communication Committee or Parish Office with such complaints for rectifications. We also agreed to put the already existing advert subscriptions on the Website as an added advantage for them until things normalize and we begin to charge for it.
